Wood turning is fun and instant success!

The wood turning classes will be held in the farm’s large and well equipped wood workshop.

Two visitors can simultaneously learn and practice on two large professional lathes. The class can be from half-day taster to more in depth over a whole day or two.

At the end of a 2 day course participants will have learnt how to use the various tools for different techniques of wood-turning.

Students will learn how to shape the timber with radial turning and will have made a simple tool handle and one or two candle holders.  Participants have the choice to make either one or two wooden bowls or a 3 legged stool, which they will finish with a wax polish and take home.
