An essential part of growing your own fruit and vegetables is storing your harvest. With our methods of preserving and juicing, you'll be able to enjoy summer's bounty during the winter months, while your garden sleeps.


The art of proper storage

Given the right environment and careful handling, many fruits and vegetables can be keep sound and fresh for a long time. Apples, carrots, pumpkins, potatoes and many others - we'll show you how to make them last well into the Spring.


Juicing, Bottling and Making Pickles and Chutneys.

When one is overwhelmed with fruit in the summer time, a traditional way to preserve the abundance is by bottling juices and making jam. Yummy!

You will also learn how to make tomatoe sauce and real sauerkraut. From cougettes pumkins, leeks and other vegetables we'll make delicious chutneys and pickles.

Home-made preserves make lovely presents for family and friends.
